Firearm Sale Pursuant to Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 18.19

Lubbock County is conducting a Restricted Online Auction through Rene Bates Auctioneers, Inc. Bids open at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 23, 2024 on the following website: www.renebates.com. Sale items are available for inspection, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, on Monday, September 30, 2024. Prospective bidders must be a firearms dealer licensed under 18 U.S.C. Section 923. Bidders must bring a copy of their Federal Firearms License (FFL) and a valid Driver's license in order to inspect items. Bids begin closing at 12:00 PM on October 4, 2024. Explanation of closing process is available on the Rene Bates Auctioneers, Inc. website.

THIS IS A RESTRICTED AUCTION. Prior to being activated to bid in this auction, bidders must contact and provide Lubbock County Sheriff’s Officer Deon Clements at 806-775-1450 or dlclements@lubbockcounty.gov with a copy of their FFL (Federal Firearms License), a valid Driver’s License, and their René Bates Auctioneers, Inc.’s active bidder number in order to bid in this auction. Bidder’s must submit the required documentation by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in order to be activated to bid in the auction.

Sale items have not been inspected and are not guaranteed to be in workable condition. All sales are on “As Is”, “Where Is” basis. All sales are final.

Regarding Corporations or LLCs that have FFLs, if there is not an individual listed on the FFL and there is only a Corporation or LLC name on the FFL then the entity must also send a copy of their Declaration or other verifiable documentation showing the responsible person for the FFL.
