Lubbock County, Texas

Ronnie Keister is serving his fourth term serving the citizens of Lubbock County as the Tax-Assessor Collector.  Ronnie has been very active in the Tax Assessor-Collectors Association of Texas (TACA) by serving as Director, Internal VP, External VP, past-President, and Chair of the Legislative Committee.  He has also served as the DMV Liaison Committee Chairman for TACA and is the recipient of the 2021 TACA Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding service over the years. In 2020 he was awarded the Independent Award for his leadership and independent spirit by the Texas Independent Automobile Dealers Association (TIADA) for his work during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ronnie is an Associate Member of the Lubbock Area Republican Women, the Lubbock Lions Club, a deacon at Trinity Church, and is an active member of the Trinity Booster Club.

Ronnie is a graduate of Lubbock Christian University.   He and his wife Heather have been married since 1999.  They have three children:  Emily, Georgia Kate, and Jackson.  Heather is an engineer with Freese and Nichols, Inc., with both P.E. and CFM designations.
